As of late, I've been doing a lot of soul searching when it comes to my design shop. Over the last year I haven't been outwardly focused on gaining new clientele. I've been more focused on spending time with my family after I had to go back to work full time in February of 2009. It's been a tough transition from being a "working at home mom" for two years to then working full time as an employee. This economy has been tough on many and especially tough on the design community since it seems many businesses see our services as a luxury rather than a necessity. Now that things appear to be improving, I'm hoping to take much needed time to build up my business again.
My ultimate goal is to go back to work at home full time as a freelance designer
and fine artist. In the months to come I'll be refocusing Nine Ten Creative into the business I've always envisioned for it to be. That vision is to still create exceptional graphic design projects for my clients and to also sell my fine-art photography and ceramic art.

An additional service I'm happy to add to my palette is historical photograph restoration. Researching my genealogy is a big drive in my life and I've been blessed to have so many photographs of several generations back (including some old tintype photographs). I felt it was my duty to take these pictures, scan, meticulously retouch, piece together and in general, restore them to their original splendor. This way these photos can be reprinted digitally, shared online and last for many more generations to come. I would love to help anyone that is in need of this service and doesn't have the capability or time to restore photographs on their own. If you are interested, please contact me. I'd be happy to show you some samples.
To start off the efforts of refocus, I've revamped Nine Ten's logo (seen at the top of the page). Next up is finally getting a new website designed and opening an Etsy shop. I'm extremely excited about the direction I'm taking my business. I hope as my clients/readers you'll be excited as well.
